One of the biggest problems the landscaping industry faces is how it is run. The model for maintenance relies on outdated technologies, practices, techniques and operational and productivity related habits. This model is about to change as change is sorely needed. There are a tremendous amount of forces working against the business model, labor, energy, equipment, transportation, weather and several others. All of these areas of expense contribute to the cost of providing service. With the value of the dollar shrinking this makes for a bad recipe for the service provider as well as the customer but what if we could use modern techniques, technology and better forgotten practices to make the entire equation more efficient as well developing continuity in the landscape? Living things thrive on consistency and this all would translate to stabilized costs for the service provider and savings from unnecessary energy spent on inefficient  maneuvers and wasted energy and resources. Sound complicated but this is what it takes to innovate and make things better for the company, the customer, the employee and of course the landscape. We are investing in and developing new strategies that make things significantly better. Among these are healthy soils that make everything work better through our regenerative soil program, our True Automation™ , and Automated robotic mowing. These three forces are going to change the landscaping playbook as they automate a lot of the forces that we are now paying for that gets passed along to the customer. We can save that money and put that force back into the pocket of the customer and the landscape! Things are going to become really exciting and it will only get better from here on…
