This year was ground breaking for us with several new discoveries. If you have been following us you are well aware that we are engaged in a higher form of lawn care referred to as Organic Regenerative Biological Method, or Biological for short. We have made an important discovery about the potential of biology as compared to synthetic products which are damaging the soil but work really fast. It doesn’t seem fair on the surface but in reality there is a very unfair comparison that allows an organic biological system work more explosively. We refer to this as SUPERCHARGE, or the full potential of biology. The one advantage of an organic system that uses biology to cycle nutrients from the atmosphere as well as from the soil in a massive way that a synthetic system can never do is that it DOES NOT HAVE INORGANIC SALTS that are used, which is the one thing that is killing the microbiology that is doing all of the work for you. You can “frontload” the entire program to deliver a massive amount of resources to overcome the most reluctant lawn and force a course of action that would otherwise kill or severely damage a lawn using synthetic products and simply blow away the performance of the traditional lawn method.
This frontloading unleashes the full potential of the microbial life. Along with adequate hydration (always water deep and infrequently) the biology can supercharge the effects of the nutrients and develop not just a healthy plant but a healthy soil.
The microbes are what is responsible for pushing nutrients into the plant root, as well as defending the plant against pathogenic microbes, retaining water in the soil, offering heat and cold tolerance as well as adding carbon to the soil which is the energy source of the soil, or as I like to call it, “the battery”.
