See the picture of this lawn? This is our flagship lawn, not perfect but let me tell you about it because it is exactly what you want. First of all this lawn is properly hydrated but it is only watered once per week, in 90 degree heat with little variation. It turns solid green the first week of April, several weeks before most people’s lawns. It stays consistently green with very little fluctuation in color with hardly any weed infiltration and stays this way until mid-December and goes into dormancy without ever turning brown. How is this possible? We have adjusted the pH so it is closer to  6.5. It has an improving carbon content and has a high level of biological activity. After a rainstorm it looks like something out of an Irish Spring commercial and there have been several weeks where it was not watered at all because the soil was able to hold more water because we have increased the water carrying capacity by increasing the organic matter content. The grass looks awesome because it is cycling nutrients via microbiology in the soil and atmosphere. We have put less than 2lbs of Nitrogen of inputs and we did not even touch it until the first week of JULY because I wanted to see how it was grabbing Nitrogen out of the sky rather being dependent on manual inputs. Well, it was doing rather well as we did not touch it for 3 solid months in one of the most stressful springs in the past 20 years. If you want something different, If you want something better and you want to get away from synthetics and harsh, toxic chemicals let’s talk.

By the way, this picture was taken a week ago. This is what a lawn should look like at the end of the season…
