Can I go out on a limb and say that customer service these days sucks? How often have you went somewhere only to get received by someone who really didn’t want to help you? They were rude, unengaged, dismissive or maybe even rude? This now seems to be the norm in this country. Things are not done right, you get a product that doesn’t work right and it is a fight to get it resolved. What ever happened to getting things done right the first time? There is a lack of leadership in this country and the culture is suffering because of it. I have always felt that it was the duty of a business to solve problems for their customers and not create them and that it takes three times more energy to correct a mistake. Businesses that are passionate about solving the problems of their customers will thrive. If they find good employees and treat them well they will be unstoppable.
