Do you feel like having a great looking lawn is futile? Do you feel like It is just too expensive? You are not alone. There is a light at the end of the tunnel. See it? No it is not that light. That is a train wreck waiting to happen. OK, maybe the train/tunnel analogy is not the best way to express this idea as there is another way and you can get off of the train tracks that everyone else and their brother are on. That path has led to high water bills, numerous mechanical operations to force things to be a certain way, endless man-made chemicals, weeds, OMG the weeds!!! Wanna get out of this rat race? There is a better way and it is called BIOLOGY. There is a right way to do things and then there is the other way or some hopeful variation of it. There is an entire world of microscopic animals that are ready to do your bidding, that is if you ask them to come. Yes, just like Kevin Costner in Field of Dreams if you build it they will come and come they will! What we are talking about are microbes that have been denied access to a soil that desperately needs them. All they need is a little bit of Carbon, some water at the right time and they will move mountains for you. The force of microbiology is immense if understood. I can honestly say after almost 30 years of turf management, we are doing things the hard way, almost backwards and making ourselves dependent to a process that is failing. Yes, there is a better way to manage your lawn and it is quite simple. Why not lay down the struggle and embrace a better, more efficient and easier method of having a kickin’ lawn? I wanted to write this to people who are feeling discouraged and left out and confused don’t be, learn more about what we call the “Regenerative Biological Method”. It is changing the way we look at turf management. .
