A few years ago I made a prediction. I simply said that within 5-6 years you would no longer be able to buy a gas powered lawn mower. In 2017 the Ego push behind, lithium powered lawn mower went head to head with the top model of the Briggs and Stratton 5hp gas powered mower. The Briggs mower lost as the Ego battery powered mower with its electrical motor was producing approximately 7hp without any of the inherent weak points of the gas engine. Instant toque and a constant power band counts for a lot. Well, last October Honda announced that it will cease the production of the Honda mower by the end of 2023, selling off it’s final inventory in 2024. What does this mean? You will be able to adopt the new technology powered with Lithium- Ion technology and operate it manually or you can go one step further and automate that technology with robotic mowers. There are a lot of exciting units coming out that are revolutionizing how we experience the landscape experience. Automation is coming and the gas paradigm is fading out. Come learn with us a better way, a more efficient way and a more responsible way of managing your lawn!
