Do you want to unlock the right way to manage a lawn successfully? It is real simple, adopt an organic biological system. What will this do? It will replace the traditional system that uses synthetic fertilizers that cause all of the problems that you associate with owning and managing a lawn. These include things such as: thick thatch, compacted soils, weeds, disease, insect infestations, lawn stress, high water bills, etc. It is real simple why, synthetic fertilizers divorce the relationship between the root and the soil, bypassing all of the benefits that come with microbiology fulfilling this role. The benefits are the inverse of everything that that you experience with synthetics. What you will experience is a lawn that will green up long before any of the other lawns, because it is dependent on soil temperature and movement of nutrients via biology as opposed to it needing help from a bag of fertilizer. There are already plenty of resources in the air and the soil that are not being utilized. Something else you will experience is massive water infiltration and water holding capabilities, minimizing evaporation and maximizing delivery of moisture to the root where it can be taken as needed. There are many other examples but these are just a few. There are four major areas that must be focused on AFTER you get a soil test to identify what you are starting with. They are: Soil pH and biology, Calcium and Sulfur levels, Organic Material and Humus and finally Macro and Micro nutrients. Once the soil is balanced it can begin to heal and become efficient and use drastically less resources which translates into a less expensive, better looking lawn.
