Last year was a very significant year. In our ongoing effort to solve the dysfunctional soil problem we have here and further our biological program we made a very important discovery.  We have had several events in our development, the initial conversation with the man that introduced us to the biological method, the first soil test and the “golden” 22 minutes I had with an agronomist in 2020, which led to our Supercharge service, a way of getting the lawn out of failure in a hurry,  the discovery that the biological method could not just compete with but outperform synthetics, which led to our Superseed program, The discovery that not just deficiencies but excesses can cause just as many if not more problems, the discovery of a test that led us to the full understanding of carbon and humus, filing in some critical blanks that led us to the revision of our new Supercharge and what I feel is the missing link to finally solve lawn dysfunction once and for all. It has been a long journey but it has been rewarding and we now have a method that reduces customer stress, save lawns, reduce waste and have beautiful lawns. It seems that nature had a surprise for me all along and it was the simple realization that nature’s operating system not only works but it works a lot better than the alternative. Once we identify key problems in the soil, address them with supplements, introduce biology and a lot of carbon, the healing can begin and efficiency can be realized translating into a whole new reality of lawn care, minimal weeds, less stress, increased porosity and structure, allowing air, water and nutrients into the soil, increased carbon which increases water carrying capacity, lowering water bills and providing energy for the soil and the microbes, all translating into a much less problematic lawn that looks great and really performs. This is the reality of the biological method. It works and it works well. Supercharge is the way in which we will overcome the challenges of the modern lawn.
